Alert levels Our alert levels explained   STOOD DOWN   No current activity   STANDBY   Pending emergency has been notified to group or current emergency may require our assistance. Members should ensure their vehicle is ready for response and keep a watching brief on news reports and communication from group with text alerts   ON ALERT   Higher level of standby, members will ensure vehicle is loaded with all necessary equipment, is fuelled up and personal equipment is readied for immediate deployment. Close watch is kept on telephone for call outs. Availability of members will be checked for particular calls. Mobile phone is fully charged up and food and drinks readied in case of sustained deployment.   DEPLOYED   Emergency in progress and group members actually deployed on active calls. All members should if possible make themselves available for call out if not already deployed
