Well the day job is certainly keeping me busy with Swine Flu spreading wider every day!

 

The National Pandemic Flu Service goes live tomorrow and this means that PCTs are having to set up Anti-viral Collection Points (ACPs) for "Flu Friends" to visit and collect anti-viral tablets for their sick friends.

 

We, along with other voluntary agencies in Hertfordshire have been asked if we can assist with both helping out at ACPs (exact role to be decided) or in delivering anti-virals to those people without flu friends.

 

As a result we are now official on standby in case we are called on to assist at short notice.
