Services offered by Hertfordshire 4x4 Response
In addition to providing a resource to Emergency Planning Departments in Local Authorities, the Emergency Services and the Health Authorities, Hertfordshire 4x4 Response can:
Provide mobile marshals and support for sporting and community events, wherever you require us to go.
We can support running events, sponsored walks etc with logistical support: getting marshals, signage and checkpoints out on the course (and bringing them back in). Collecting participants who may not be able to complete the event, in fact anything an organiser needs where vehicles with a "go anywhere" capability are needed.
Carry out abandoned vehicle removal from inaccessible locations including rights of way.
Even before the group was formed, members have gained experience in this area with the Green Lane Association and have developed techniques for removing vehicles with minimum damage to the rights of way themselves.
Hertfordshire 4x4 Response does not charge for its services although donations to cover members fuel costs or to general group funds are welcomed.
